Today’s the day. It’s the day we’re celebrating the launch of Dynamis Ministries. Whether you can join us at tonight’s Launch Party or not, we hope you can have joy with us in what God is doing in this ministry along with a host of dedicated people across the country.
Speaking of the Launch Party, it’s not too late to join us. Just come on over! The party will begin at 6PM and is hosted at the Geneva Country Club at 831 South St, Geneva, IL 60134. There will be tasty food and drinks, great entertainment and rich conversations.
We’re having a party tonight to thank people for being on this journey, to invite new people to join the movement and to gain more momentum for the growth of Dynamis. BUT most importantly, we’re doing it because it is good for us to celebrate the goodness of God together.
Celebrating is one of the things that brings us together as the “high and mighty” and the “weak and lowly” do it together. Everyone shares in the goodness of God. And what’s also beautiful about celebration is that it has a way of reminding us that we’re not as important as we think we are. It’s God that is in our midst, and we actually become more balanced and aligned with him when we take time to celebrate.
Whatever you find yourself doing this evening, and this weekend for that matter, we encourage you to take a moment and celebrate the goodness of God. Here are some truths about God’s goodness to spur on our celebrating:
• And the LORD said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” (Exodus 33:19)
• The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. (Psalm 145:9)
• The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. (Nahum 1:7)
• But he never left them without evidence of himself and his goodness. For instance, he sends you rain and good crops and gives you food and joyful hearts. (Acts 14:17)
• And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
• Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. (James 1:17)
God is good, Amen! Let’s be sure to celebrate that together, not only today but as often as we can. For it’s God’s goodness that is the source of all generosity as he sustains all of life. Thank you for being in the Dynamis mission with us. We’re so glad that you’re here!
